It’s mid September, there’s a slight coolness in the air, and football season has started once again! It’s the absolute best time of year! Now all I need are about 5 million pumpkins scattered around my house and I will be the happiest of happy campers. Trust me, that’s coming. 😉
It’s also no surprise to hear me say I love the fall season because of the clothes. In my opinion, which may not count for much, fall is the best time to experiment with your look. Fall temps can fluctuate vastly throughout the day, so layering is almost a nessessity in order to stay comfortable. With the need for layering, comes the opportunity to put pieces together you probably normally wouldn’t. I love that! Layering always starts with a great base. Turtlenecks, t-shirts, and camisoles are all great options for a starting point to any fall look, but one option that I am currently craving are bodysuits. If you think about it, they really are the perfect base layer. Many of us are all about the “tuck it in” trend, and a bodysuit is the perfect article for that because it never comes untucked! Genius really.
I love the details on the jumpsuit I’m wearing. It has a faux wrap with side tie and a built-in choker. It kind of feels like you’re wearing a super comfy one piece swimsuit, but way softer of course. 😉 I especially love body suits with anything high waisted, like these jeans from Mother Denim. Throw on a cool outer layer and fun shoes, and you’re ready for a night out! In addition to my bodysuit, I have also linked a few other options that are equal parts cute and affordable.
