Have A Stylish Holiday Season with The Mr. & Ms. Collection

We are officially in the throws of holiday season, and I’m sure many of our minds are on turkey (or ham if your my father), all the fixin’s, and shopping! Honestly, I can hardly believe it! This year has flown by! When it comes to holiday shopping, there are so many aspects to think about: gifts, holiday parties, trips, family gatherings, and so on…, and, if you’re like me, I want to look my best for all the festive occasions. What better time to spruce up your look than holiday time, right?!

BUT… I also know that the holidays are usually hectic, so I don’t normally have a lot of time to search for things for me, and on top of that, buying gifts for those that seem to have everything can seem daunting. So, when The Ms. Collection and The Mr. Collection reached out for a collaboration, it couldn’t have come at a more perfect time! The fixer of all my holiday dilemmas, minus the fact that my dad will most likely eat all the chocolate pie and barely leave any for anyone else. :/ Oh, the trials and tribulations of holiday dinners. 😉

Let’s face it, we all get in a rush this time of year and don’t always have time to freshen up our wardrobe. I love the idea of new, on-trend pieces coming right to my doorstep. I have never done any kind of styling service before, so I really didn’t know what to expect, but The Mr. & Ms. Collection made it extremely easy to walk through each step, from creating my profile all the way to the box of goodies hitting my front door. Chris and I filled out our online profiles, mine through The Ms. Collection and his through The Mr. Collection. They asked the standard questions concerning size and measurements, but they also went in depth about asking what it is that we look for in clothing, such as colors we prefer, prints we gravitate toward, and styles we like best. For example, I said that I love colors like black, grey, and blue, and I love stripes and plaids, so the stylist at The Ms. Collection incorporated some of those. They even asked what we definitely do not want to see in our packs. Two features I really appreciated while filling our the profile was the option to share a Pinterest board and the additional comment space for any further details we wanted to share. I find so much inspiration via Pinterest, so I loved being able to share my fashion board with The Ms. Collection stylists in order for them to get an even better idea of who I am. Also, with the additional comment space, Chris was able to describe in further detail about his body type: the fact that he’s tall and slender. The Mr. Collection took that comment into consideration while packing his items, and as a result, the tops he received were made for tall men. Love that! It can be so difficult finding clothes for Chris, so having someone trained in styling all body types do it for me was a huge relief.

Another great thing about this company is the fact that your wardrobe can constantly be evolving. The Mr. & Ms. Collection act as a rental service, meaning you try-out and wear what you like, and when you’re finished with it, send it back and they’ll send you a new pack. You just keep repeating this process, so you always have new items in your closet! BUT… let’s say you really love an item, you have the option to purchase it at a discounted rate! Fabulous!!!
