Hello all! I don’t know what the temperature is like where you are, but here in New England it is still a bit chilly. Now, don’t get me wrong, the temp is definitely going up, but the mornings are still a little colder than I like. This kind of weather situation can only mean one thing… layers! This trench is the perfect spring layering piece to get me through this crazy Northeastern spring. By lunchtime, I am ready to ditch the jacket, but I will definitely need it again once the sun sets. This is something that I am not at all used to. Growing up in the south, April means sleeveless and sandals, and it definitely does not mean being able to see your breath when you breathe! Warmer mornings are approaching (I hope), so I will hold out until that day when I can walk outside first thing in the a.m. barefoot and not feel like my toes are going to freeze off!
Also, because it is still cool, I opted for closed-toe shoes, but for those of you already working those “let thy toes be free” sandals, a pair of metallic gold strappy ones like these would be super fun! Oh, I also want to mention the color combo I’m rocking! Powder blue and olive… LOVE IT!
Enjoy!
Much Love!
