Good morning! We’re halfway through the week, which means we are halfway to the weekend! I am soooo ready! Anyone else exhausted after watching the election results last night?! I know I am. Regardless of which way you voted, it was intense! The bags under my eyes are insanely large-and-in charge this morning!
Chris and I are taking a much needed getaway to Los Angeles this weekend. The rainy season is among us in Washington state, so I am extremely pumped about sunshine!!! I crave sunshine like people crave ice cream… gotta have it! This look is one that I envision myself wearing while we are away. It’s pretty much my fall uniform lately. I am totally obsessed with denim on denim because it has such a cool, casual vibe with a bit of an edge. It’s rocker and cowgirl all mixed into one! My favorite combo!!! What really gives this look a punch are the accessories. The bronze booties and brocade chocker add just enough spunk, and throw on a leather jacket to top it off, and BAM, perfect fall fashion formula!
I also want to specifically talk about these jeans. I bought them at Express on a whim, and boy have I been thoroughly impressed by them. First of all they are super flattering in all the right places, and they have a high waist, which I love. My favorite part though, is the fact that they are so comfortable; it’s as if I’m wearing leggings instead of jeans. They have a perfect amount of stretch! I have worn the heck out of them the past week, and they have not lost shape at all. I don’t know about you, but jeans that stretch out and lose their shape are extremely annoying. Not of that nonsense with these bad boys!
Now on to pack for my weekend away with my favorite person!
